GENERAL FUND
General Fund collections of $2,323.0 million for the
month of September were $151.8 million, or 6.1%,
below the official estimate. Fiscal year 2011-12 collec¬
tions of $5,849.1 million were below the official estimate
by $215.0 million, or 3.5%.
• Total Corporation Tax collections of $466.0 million for the
month of September were $92.9 million, or 16.6%, below
the official estimate. Year-to-date collections are $89.5 mil¬
lion, or 12.9%, below estimate.
• Sales and Use Tax (SUT) collections of $714.9 million were
$14.9 million, or 2.0%, below estimate. Year-to-date col¬
lections are $30.6 million, or 1.4%, below estimate.
• Total Personal Income Tax (PIT) collections of $902.5 mil¬
lion for the month of September were $42.0 million, or
4.4%, below estimate. Year-to-date collections are $97.1
million, or 4.0%, below the official estimate.
• Realty Transfer Tax (RTT) revenues of $26.5 million were
$0.6 million, or 2.3%, below estimate. Year-to-date collec¬
tions are $5.1 million, or 5.9%, below estimate.
• Inheritance Tax revenues of $64.7 million were $1.4 mil¬
lion, or 2.1%, below estimate. Year-to-date collections are
$6.5 million, or 3.1%, below estimate.
• Other tax revenue including Cigarette, Malt Beverage,
Liquor, Table Games, and other miscellaneous tax collec¬
tions totaled $134.3 million for the month of September.
• Nontax revenue collections for the month of September
were below the official estimate by $5.2 million. Year-to-
date collections are $6.5 million above the official estimate.
