Historical and Museum Commission State Documents
The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission preserves the Commonwealth's historic heritage. The Commission administers the state archival and records management program and numerous museums and historical sites. The Commission also assists local historical societies and governmental agencies in all matters regarding historical preservation, conducts research and publication programs to promote Pennsylvania history, and manages the State Records Center.
The publications of the Historical and Museum Commission contain annual reports, strategic plans, and standards. Selected topics from these publications include yearly statistics, historic preservation, and collections management. The bulk of the current material is dated from 2007 to present.
